If there's one thing British people love, it's tea. And if there's one thing British people really, reallyhate, it's people stealing the precious milk required to make said tea. In shared offices, this is a fairly common crime. Sometimes it leads to people sticking passive-aggressive little post-it notes to their belongings, or stashing a secret supply of milk in miniature fridges beneath their desks. Of course, some resort to more extreme measures. That padlocked milk photo has gone seriously viral over the last 24 hours -- a clear testament to just how strongly the nation feels about this issue. Some people were aghast. Others had different concerns. In the end, though, the photo was traced back to a place where security is clearly top priority: a police station. Yep: that picture was taken by a student police officer, and it shows the inside of the shared fridge at Halifax Police Station. You may think it's odd -- and, admittedly, it probably takes a lot longer to make a cup of tea than normal -- but hey: if the police can't curb the nation's milk theft epidemic, who can?
