Who needs a gold-colourediPhone when you can get an actual gold one? London-based store Goldgenie is all set for iPhone 8 orders already, ahead of the Apple's hotly-anticipated event next week. The company, which also operates in Dubai, is promising to deliver iPhone 8 devices plated in 24K gold, rose gold, and platinum, not to mention — if you like — with diamond-encrusted accents. Oh, and if plating isn't good enough for you, Goldgenie can also take the phone apart and replace its casing with a solid 18K gold version. In addition to the iPhone 8, the company is also taking orders for the rumoured iPhone 7S, although we can't be sure the phone will be real until Apple announces it. Here's what it did with the iPhone 7 Plus for $3,258 (£2,497) when it was released last year: This version of the smaller iPhone 7 in 256GB has diamonds on the back and sides, in addition to a one-year concierge service. Just $19,573 (£15,000): As for the iPhone 8, this is what Goldgenie says you can expect, based on mock-ups of the phone that's been leaked. The company hasn't announced prices for its iPhone 8 or 7S yet, but suffice it to say, it probably won't come cheap. TopicsAppleiPhoneTweet may have been deleted
