Manchester United football player Romelu Lukaku has reacted on Instagram to the criticism surrounding a recent post from clothing store H&M. After H&M uploaded a photo showing a black child model sporting a hoodie which read, "coolest monkey in the jungle" many, including The Weeknd, expressed outrage at the image. H&M issued the following public apology about the image on Twitter. Now Manchester United player Romelu Lukaku has added his voice to the story by photoshopping the original image with a new slogan. The message of empowerment struck a chord, with over 150,000 likes at time of writing. American basketball star LeBron James also shared on Instagram his version of the photo. Mashable reached out to H&M for comment and they responded with the public statement. This story was updated to add LeBron James' Instagram post. TopicsActivismCelebritiesTweet may have been deleted
