It's not clear if Twitter is actually making good on promises to do a better job of shutting down harassment and toxic behavior on its social media network... but booting Roger Stone sure is a good start.

The notoriously caustic Donald Trump stan -- who once called @RogerJStoneJr home -- had his tweeting privileges revoked over the weekend. It was presumably a direct response to his widely shared thread attacking CNN correspondent Don Lemon.

While a look at Stone's Twitter account page right now redirects to a suspension notice, sources told Buzzfeedthat it's meant to be a permanent removal.

It's not entirely clear what has gotten Stone so agitated this weekend, but he blew a fuse on Friday night in a string of aggressive, abusive tweets directed primarily at Lemon. The intensity of the blast was so much that others wondered: Will Twitter actually, finally do something about this?

This isn't exactly Stone's first time behaving in an abusive manner on Twitter, nor is it his first account suspension. Here's an example. And another one. And a bunch more.

You don't have to look hard, honestly. Behaving like a shitty human online is apparently Stone's brand.

While Twitter seems to be finished with Stone, Stone definitely isn't over Twitter. Explaining in an email to Politicothat "the battle against free speech has just begun," he pledged legal action against the social media company.

Instead of offering specifics, he summoned up the same, tired "liberal tech!" argument that Stone and those like him love to lean on when they act like jerks online and pay some kind of price.

"This is a strange way to do business and part and parcel of the systematic effort by the tech left to censor and silence conservative voices."

Here's a tip for you, Mr. Stone, for whenever you succumb to the lure of a platform like Twitter again: It's not conservative voices getting silenced. It's toxic assholes like you.
